What is HUSAR ?

Launched in 1995 as a spin-off company of the Department of Molecular
Biophysics of DKFZ, the company is offering
on-line sequence analysis packages (e.g. HUSAR), data bases, as well as bioinformatics consulting to
scientists.
Assembly of DNA fragments in sequencing projects
Analysis of relationship between DNA and protein sequences of different organisms
Comparison of newly sequenced DNA or proteins with the corresponding databases
Secondary structure predictions of RNA, antisense RNA, and proteins
Analysis of phylogenetic trees
Biological structure-function analysis
Information analysis of hereditary diseases with the OMIM database
Searches in the Genome Database regarding genome loci, mutations, cell lines, etc. of the human genome
Genomic linkage analysis with mathematical and statistical methods
How to use our service:
You want to carry out your own searches.....
For an annual fee you will get a password and disk space on our machine. All you need is a computer with access to
Internet and the corresponding software. We offer interactive access to packages of programs and most up-to-date databases.
Apart from making access and exchange of data as easy as possible, we offer telephone and e-mail support, manuals,
workshops, and twice a year a newsletter to inform users about changes, developments and new programs.
